MP visits supporters from another state to say thank you

MUAR: A MP from outside the state came to Johor recently to thank all his supporters who had prayed for him to win a by-election.

Kuala Terengganu MP Mohd Abdul Wahid Endut thanked all his PAS members for their prayers.

He said although PAS supporters in Muar did not vote for him when he contested for the Kuala Terengganu parliamentary seat on Jan 17, they did pray for him.

“I know deep in their hearts they all prayed for me when I contested in the by-election although they were not voters.

“I truly appreciate their prayers and I have come to personally thank them today,” he said when met at a Muar PAS thanksgiving dinner in Kampung Parit Pecah near Sungai Balang recently.

He added that he planned to tour the country, including to Sabah and Sarawak, to give his thanks to those who had prayed for him during the by-election.
